Steve Wong, Lead Pastor
Steve is the founder of Grace Community (see History) and brings over 25 years of ministry experience with an MDiv in Theology from Talbot and a PhD in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on Asian American young adult development. Most recently he became published as a contributing writer to “Growing Healthy Asian American Churches” (InterVarsity Press, 2006). Steve, his wife Winnie, and their three fun-loving kids, Rebecca, Michaela and Joshua, live in San Jose. Steve is a big U2 fan, loves playing the guitar and admits to enjoy eating Chinese bitter melon.

Brian Wo, Associate Pastor
Brian serves mainly in the area of Outreach, both local and global. Before going into full-time ministry, Brian spent 3 years pondering why his business card read “Mechanical Engineer.” He is now closing in on 15 years experience in vocational ministry. Brian, his wife Angela, and their non-sleeping children, Ethan and Cassidy, live in Santa Clara. He claims to have petted a live komodo dragon, plays in a Jazz combo and can otherwise be found in the garage restoring his ’67 Mustang.

Monica Kim, Director of Family Life
Monica joined the staff in May of 2009 as Director of Family Life. Her
involvement at GCCC began with serving on the worship team and then
grew into over 6 years with the children's ministry in various
capacities. She, her husband Rick and their 3 Ramen eating children,
Kaleigh, Sydney and Owen live in Sunnyvale. In addition to her passion
working with children and planning family-oriented events, her favorite pairings would be a toss between shopping at Michaels Arts n Crafts or Sur La Table, and definitely sipping a Peet's- 'make it a double, light ice, xtra pump, iced vanilla latte. please'.

Wendy Dea-Mattson, Office Manager
Wendy really runs the place, keeping everyone in the loop, making sure we’re stocked and providing invaluable support of all varieties to Grace Community. She has 8 years experience as the Grace Community Office Manager,11 years as a mom and 13 years as a wife. Wendy and her husband, Jordan, live in Mountain View with their three energetic kids.
