40 Days of Prayer -- For 40 days (from Aug 4-Sept 12), you are invited for confession, and changing direction as we seek God’s direction for Grace Community. A brochure called “Fresh Wind” is available at the greeter’s table to guide your daily times of listening prayer.

40 Days of Prayer Feedback. What have you heard from God during our 40 days of prayer? The leadership team would love to hear from you. They have feedback cards to help you process and report on what you’ve heard from God. You can get a feedback card from Pastor Steve, Kenny Tam (chair), Robin Ko (vice chair), Joe Chongsiriwathana (communications), Dean Chang (treasurer), Mark Chan (financial administrator) or Cliff Tong.

Kick-off of Fall Sunday School on Sunday, September 5, 2010. Registration begins at 10:10 am. Be sure to come early and fill out info form for your child. Sunday Worship Service in the Sanctuary on Sunday, September 5, 2010 at 10:30 am. Speaker: Brian Wo, “The Paradigm Stretch”, Acts 10.1-11.8

Fall Children’s Sunday School begins this Sunday, September 5, 2010 at 10:30 am. The 2s – 3s will meet in Classroom F. The 4s – 5s will meet in Classroom D. The 1st – 2nd graders will meet in Classroom B. The 3rd – 5th graders will attend the worship service at 10:30 am with their parents and will then be dismissed to their Sunday School class in Classroom A.

Theam Thailand is hosting a get-together in the Gathering Hall on Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm with a special guest. Sarah Ago will be bringing a visitor, Faa, from Chiang Mai, Thailand to meet us and share her story with us. Faa works with exploited children and runs a small home for some of these rescued children. Her sister is on staff with The Garden of Hope and our Thailand team worked with her sister Ning last November. Please come join us if you are interested in hearing Faa’s story. This is a potluck, so please RSVP to Christine Chan (Christine Chan) with the number of people coming and what you will be bringing. We will have some childcare available so please indicate if you are bringing kids.

Town Hall Meeting in the Gathering Hall at 9:00 am on Sunday, September 19, 2010 to review and answer questions for the proposed 2011 budget. All are welcome.

Community Meeting in the Gathering Hall at 9:00 am on Sunday, September 26, 2010. The agenda inclues a strategic and facility update from Pastor Steve, 2010 finanical review and a vote on the 2011 budget. All are welcome, but only Grace members will be able to vote.
